DOG WALKING PROGRAM
Our dog walking program, like our day care, has an emphasis on training.
All walks will include work on loose leash walking techniques including “wait” (through doorways and corners) and “sit” at random intervals. Your dog will be walked and socialized by trained dog’s day out staff.
Puppy Program: As a part of our dog walking program we will provide appropriate in-home services for puppies 7-20 weeks of age. We will spend one hour with the puppy working on housebreaking, controlled socialization, desensitization, game playing and beginning leash walking as well as simple commands such as sit, down & wait.
Social Canine: For reactive dogs or those needing more intensive leash work, as well as for young dogs needing increased socialization. Prerequisite: completion of 2 or 3 week dog’s day training program or 1 hour private consultation (see Social Canine Program for details).
DAYS: Monday through Friday
(Some weekend service available by special arrangement, $30/30min for Sat/Sun).
AREA: Ballard, Queen Anne, Crown Hill, Fremont, Greenlake, Magnolia, Greenwood
RATES: 30 min. walk $23, additional 15 min. + $5 (45 min=$28)
2 dogs same family – 30 min, $28
Puppy Program (pups 7-20 weeks of age) 1 hour $40 or 4 consecutive days (Mon-Th) $140
Social Canine Program: 1 hour $50
REQUIREMENTS:
Completed application and signed contract
Initial evaluation & key pick up at client’s home. 30 min. No charge.
Upon evaluation you may be required to obtain appropriate walking equipment (head collar, leash) from us or retailer of your choice.
Payment due at the beginning of the month for the entire month.
