We have several
options for training here at dog’s day out…
GROUP CLASSES
 include: Puppy Pounce, The Basics, Beyond The Basics, Courteous Canine Crash
Course, Intermediate-Tricks & Games, Therapy Dog, Agility, and Difficult Dog. All of our
group classes are limited to 8 dogs max/class so you are guaranteed
individual attention. Select classes also offered in
West Seattle.

PRIVATE
TRAINING
If you have a specific problem or your schedule just
won't permit a group class, these are offered on-site ($60/hr) or at your
home ($75/hr).
DAY TRAINING
These are intensive one-on-one
training programs tailored specifically for your canine companion. At the
initial private consultation with the trainer, a specific curriculum will
be designed for each dog according to the needs and goals of the dog and
owner. During the day, dogs will spend exercise and socialization time with
our regular day care dogs, if appropriate, and will receive a minimum of 1.5 hours of private
one-on-one work with a trainer.
Dogs may also be taken off-site to participate in our Social Canine program during the
day.
We offer 2 and 3 week
programs…
Two week dog’s day
training program includes:
- Initial one-hour
private lesson/consultation with trainer. Here we assess the
dog’s level of obedience and tailor the training program to the specific
needs and goals of the dog and owner.
- 3
training days per week (dogs
must be dropped off between 7-8:30am
and picked up between 4-5:30pm)
for 2 weeks.
- 2
half hour “review” sessions with trainer at the end of each week. Here the trainer will review
with the owner what we have worked on during the week and the training
plan for the following week. We will demonstrate to the owner how to
continue the training at home. *The owner must be an active
participant in the plan in order to achieve success with this program!
- At completion, dog is eligible for “Refresher” training days.
Total cost: $450
Three week dog’s day
training program includes:
- All of the above in 2 week program PLUS 3
additional days of training and additional 30 minute
“review” session at the end of the 3rd week.
Total cost: $575
“Refresher”
training days
- Same as our dog’s day training program except dog is allowed to come for
refresher work as often or as sporadically as you would like and need.
Prerequisite: completion of 2 or 3 week dog’s day training program OR
completion of the Courteous Canine Crash Course OR prior trainer approval
determined at 1 hour private lesson/consultation ($60)
$50/day
“Social Canine”
program
- Socialization and desensitization training.
Dogs are dropped off for the day (dogs must be dropped off between 7:00-8:30am and picked up
between 4:00-5:30pm). They will begin the day
spending time with our regular day care dogs for supervised
socialization and exercise (if appropriate for the individual dog) and
will then be taken off-site with a trainer to various locales
(shopping areas, park trips, coffee shops etc.).
Prerequisite: completion of 2 or 3 week dog’s day training program OR
completion of the Courteous Canine Crash Course OR prior trainer approval
determined at 1 hour private lesson/consultation ($60)
