PUPPY POUNCE

Please don’t wait 6 months to start training! This class for pups 8-16 weeks focuses on imperative skills for your pup to prevent potentially dangerous problems later. We cover, among other things (!), socialization techniques and bite inhibition. Do you have health concerns about having your young pup around others? Please READ THIS!

CAUGHT BETWEEN CLASSES? Join us for PUPPY PLAY GROUP - a one-hour play group for pups 8-20 weeks every other week. See schedule for dates. $10 Pre-registration (by phone or email) required.

THE BASICS
Just what it sounds like – learn all The Basics! The core course for dogs 6 months and up. Use reward-based positive reinforcement methods to get your dog to do what you want, and love it! See the full description of this class on our training page.

COURTEOUS CANINE CRASH COURSE
Can't fit a 6 week class into your schedule? This class covers the same material as The Basics in three 1.5 hour classes. Participants must be present all three weeks and dogs must be 1 year or older.

DIFFICULT DOG:   4-week class aimed at dogs with reactive or aggressive tendencies towards other dogs.  We will work on teaching the dogs to relax in the presence of other dogs and, most importantly, to have your dog look to YOU for cues on how they should react when other dogs are present. Next class starts July 2.

DAY CARE

What’s so special about us and how do we differ from all the other dog day care facilities?

We differ from many dog day care centers in three ways:

1. We are dedicated to remaining small (only 15 dogs allowed per day) to prevent potential problems related to too many dogs in one space, and so that all dogs are guaranteed individual attention. We usually have a wait list for day care, but we are worth the wait! Also, we can often get you in on our “floating” space before a regular space opens up. Our dog walking program is also available for those waiting for day care.

2. We maintain a strong focus on positive education, behavior and training. We are a training and behavior center with all staff members having extensive knowledge in canine behavior. Thus, we are able to avoid any problematic behaviors that could occur by recognizing them and stopping them before they escalate.

3. We’re pioneers!  We have been in this business for 9 years. We were the second facility to open in Seattle. We have experience.
